Artist & Graphic Designer

I am Alidad Ghaffari born in Tehran (Iran) and now living in UK, i studied Graphic Design in Tehran University before moving to study Art and Design at Birmingham City University ( known has BCU ) class of 2012,I use my art as a way to express my feelings and emotions which does change depending on current climate and affairs environment.

I started my journey in art with black/white pen and ink, which has led to many different styles over the years from oil paint, Acrylic paint, mixed media. currently i have found myself using spray paint and acrylic to create my artwork, however i still love researching and experimenting with new techniques and mediums which allows me to have no limits in art since i believe we have no right or wrong way or style when it comes to expressing yourself.

Where do i get my inspiration from? 
I have a few artists that i can say i adore which also have an influence my art

• Salvador Dail  " The God of Surrealism " 
• Andy Warhol, Keith Haring ,Jean-Michel Basquiat " The 3 Kings of Pop Art "

Although all artists are inseparable and i believe inspiration can come from anyone and anything.

Why i have choose Bittersweet ?
It's all about feeling when you looking at a piece of art no matter what it is, Sometimes it's the most colourful piece but yet the saddest of them all, Sometimes the sweetest art comes from the bitterest moment.

• All prints limited to 50 and 5 hand embellished   - watermark stamp on the pictures on website wont be on the print. its just for copy right purposes.
